Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is transmitted directly to the outside provider that operates that service. The provider processes the query and supplies the response. Perry County Court Docket does not retain or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be kept as long as needed to prepare and deliver a response. We limit access to the message within our organization and do not disclose it externally unless disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a visitor loads a page, the website's systems may automatically receive these technical details:
- Page-view dates and times
- The referring website, when one is available
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- Device category and operating system
- Browser name and version
- The device's assigned IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. We use them with analytics services to understand traffic in aggregate, such as which pages are used most and where visits end. A browser can be configured to refuse cookies. Certain website functions may work differently when cookies are blocked.
What We Do With This Data
- Routing search requests to the appropriate partner service
- Diagnosing errors and correcting technical problems
- Measuring which content visitors use and where improvements are needed
- Operating the website and maintaining reliable load times
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Perry County Court Docket does not host, maintain, assemble, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides general directions for finding Perry County records through the Perry County Circuit Court, the Circuit Court Clerk and General Sessions Clerk, the Clerk and Master, and Tennessee court systems. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes displayed here. Information submitted through a tool is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention, processing, and disclosure practices. Review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Perry County clerk pages, Tennessee trial or appellate court resources, legal-aid organizations, and third-party search services. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may use their systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted advertisements. That tracking is controlled by those providers.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may nevertheless be available to these limited recipients:
- Advertising networks that serve ads on the website
- Analytics vendors that measure use and technical performance
- Search providers that process a visitor's submitted query
- Government or law-enforcement authorities when a valid legal requirement compels disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards are applied to information in our possession. No internet service or storage method can guarantee perfect security, however, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such information, we will remove it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights may differ based on the law where a visitor lives. The Tennessee Public Records Act governs access to qualifying records held by Tennessee public entities, while Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 addresses public access to court records. Those public-record authorities do not turn private website data into a court record. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion when applicable law permits it
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where that right applies
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised as practices or legal duties change. Any revision will be posted here and identified by a new effective date. Visitors should review the policy periodically for the current terms.
Effective date: September 7, 2026
